Rabbi Zidni Ilma — A Prayer for Knowledge
Original Textured Acrylic & Gold Arabic Calligraphy on Canvas
A$595.00
Rabbi Zidni Ilma — “My Lord, Increase Me in Knowledge”
A gentle expression of faith, growth and the lifelong pursuit of knowledge, Rabbi Zidni Ilma is inspired by the beautiful Qur’anic supplication:
رَّبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا
“My Lord, increase me in knowledge.” — Qur’an 20:114
Rendered in elegant gold Arabic calligraphy, the prayer becomes the focal point of a softly textured composition. Delicate layers of blush pink, muted mint and warm ivory create a peaceful backdrop, while expressive raised textures give the artwork depth and movement. The golden calligraphy catches the light beautifully, adding a subtle sense of warmth and refinement.
Created with serene, nurturing spaces in mind, this piece would make a meaningful addition to a girl’s bedroom, nursery, study area or reading corner. Beyond its decorative beauty, it carries a timeless prayer for curiosity, wisdom and continued learning—making it particularly meaningful as a gift for a daughter, new baby, student or special milestone.
Finished in a natural timber floating frame, the soft pastel palette allows the artwork to complement both contemporary and classic interiors.
