Welcome to Studio Ruzna. These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases, commissions and use of the Studio Ruzna website.

By placing an order or commissioning an artwork from Studio Ruzna, you agree to these terms.

Original Artworks

Studio Ruzna artworks are individually created by hand. Each original is unique and may include variations in texture, brushwork, surface detail, colour and finish that form part of the character of the artwork.

We make every effort to photograph and represent each artwork as accurately as possible. However, colours and finishes may appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography and individual screen settings.

Certain finishes, including metallic, pearlescent, textured and reflective elements, may also appear differently as lighting and viewing angles change.

Pricing & Payment

All prices displayed on the Studio Ruzna website are in Australian dollars (AUD).

Any applicable delivery charges will be displayed or communicated before the purchase is finalised.

An order is confirmed once the required payment has been received and the order has been accepted by Studio Ruzna.

Original Artwork Availability

Original artworks are one of a kind and are subject to availability.

While we make every effort to keep availability information current, an artwork may occasionally become unavailable before the website has been updated. If payment has been made for an artwork that is no longer available, we will contact you and arrange an appropriate refund.

Commissioned Artworks

Studio Ruzna welcomes selected commissions.

Before work begins, we will discuss the intended size, colour palette, calligraphy or wording where applicable, general artistic direction, price and estimated timeframe.

A 50% deposit is required to confirm the commission and reserve the project. The remaining balance is payable upon completion and before collection or delivery.

Once creation of the commissioned artwork has commenced, the deposit is non-refundable for change of mind.

Commissioned artwork is created according to the agreed overall direction while retaining the artist's creative discretion.

Because each Studio Ruzna artwork is created individually by hand, a commission will not be an exact reproduction of another artwork, photograph, digital representation or reference image. Variations in composition, texture, colour, placement and finishing are part of the original creative process.

Any significant requested changes outside the originally agreed direction may result in additional costs or changes to the completion timeframe. These will be discussed before additional work proceeds.

Estimated completion times are provided in good faith. As original artworks are created by hand, completion dates may occasionally vary. We will communicate with you if a significant delay arises.

Commissioned artworks are not eligible for Studio Ruzna's voluntary change-of-mind return policy. This does not affect any rights or remedies you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

Certificate of Authenticity

Every original Studio Ruzna artwork is accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity documenting details such as the artwork title, dimensions, medium and year of creation.

Copyright & Reproduction Rights

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, purchasing an original Studio Ruzna artwork transfers ownership of the physical artwork only.

Studio Ruzna may photograph and reproduce images of its artworks for purposes including its website, portfolio, social media, publications, promotion and authorised reproductions or limited editions.

Purchasing an original artwork does not grant permission to reproduce, commercially exploit, create prints from, license or otherwise reproduce the artwork without prior written permission.

Limited Edition Prints

Where Studio Ruzna offers limited edition fine art prints, edition size and relevant details will be stated with the artwork.

Limited edition works may be individually numbered and signed and may be accompanied by documentation confirming their edition details.

The purchase of a limited edition print does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights.

Returns & Refunds

Our voluntary change-of-mind policy for eligible ready-made original artworks is explained on our Shipping & Returns page.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Delivery

Delivery, collection and return arrangements are subject to the Studio Ruzna Shipping & Returns policy.

Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on artwork size, destination and the delivery provider.

Website Content

All content appearing on the Studio Ruzna website, including artwork images, photography, written content, branding and designs, remains the property of Studio Ruzna or the relevant rights holder unless otherwise stated.

Content may not be reproduced or used commercially without prior written permission.

Changes to These Terms

Studio Ruzna may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of purchase will apply to that transaction, subject to applicable law.
