The Light Within – Original Multi-Layered Acrylic Impasto on Canvas
A$1250.00
The Light Within — Original Textured Islamic Calligraphy Art
The Light Within is a bold contemporary artwork exploring the relationship between darkness, light and spiritual reflection.
Built through multiple layers of acrylic and heavy sculptural impasto, the surface has a deeply tactile, dimensional quality. Rich charcoal tones are layered with warm earthy undertones, while pronounced peaks, ridges and organic variations create movement across the canvas. As light moves across the heavily textured surface, shadows and highlights shift, revealing new details from different perspectives.
Against this dramatic background, luminous gold Arabic calligraphy becomes the focal point of the composition. The warmth of the gold contrasts beautifully with the deep charcoal surface, creating a striking contemporary presence while retaining the quiet spiritual character of Islamic art.
Presented in a natural timber floating frame, The Light Within has a strong yet contemplative presence, making it particularly suited to a living room, entrance, hallway, prayer space, office or contemporary interior.
Each element is individually created by hand, from the heavily layered impasto surface to the calligraphic detail, making the original entirely one of a kind.
